OSHA/Universal Precautions: Employees review information regarding ("OSHA") regulations, which provide standards that employers must follow to ensure employee safety where there is occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens. Universal Precautions is a standardized approach to infection control.

HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act): Each employee is required to complete UPN's HIPAA training. This training is designed to educate employees about the Act and provide general guidelines on how to comply with the Act's requirements, including recognizing "Protected Health Information" ("PHI") and avoiding improper disclosures of PHI. The training utilizes case scenarios and concludes with a written exam.

Fire Safety: Employees review information that discusses the causes of fires, fire prevention methods, fire safety tips, fire escape plans and the use of fire extinguishers.
